Fusible Fleece – Interfacing/Interlining – HTC9720-1
✨ Key Features:
Adds Loft, Body, and Dimension
Fusible Fleece adds soft cushioning, fullness, and dimensional structure to sewing, quilting, and craft projects. Its dense construction provides more body than traditional batting while remaining flexible and easy to sew.
Convenient Fusible Backing
The fusible surface bonds directly to the wrong side of the fabric with heat, helping keep the fleece securely positioned while quilting, sewing, or assembling the project.
Durable Needle-Punched Construction
The needle-punched fleece construction creates a strong, consistent material that resists shifting and separating during sewing and regular use.
Denser Than Traditional Batting
The 3.2 oz construction is denser than standard batting, providing enhanced durability, structure, loft, and shape retention for projects that require additional support.
Ideal for Bags and Structured Accessories
Adds soft structure and stability to handbags, tote bags, pouches, fabric baskets, organizers, laptop sleeves, and other accessories without creating an excessively rigid finish.
Excellent for Quilting and Home Décor
Use it to add dimension and padding to quilts, placemats, table runners, wall hangings, cushion covers, fabric bowls, and decorative panels.
Suitable for Garments
Provides lightweight warmth, padding, and shape for jackets, vests, costumes, and other garments requiring additional body.
Washable and Dry-Cleanable
Fusible Fleece can be washed, tumble dried, and professionally dry-cleaned without damaging the material when it is properly applied. Always follow the care instructions of the most delicate project fabric.
Wide 45-Inch Format
The generous 45-inch width provides excellent coverage for larger projects and reduces the need to join multiple pieces of fleece.

How to Use:
Pre-treat the project fabric according to its care instructions.
Cut the Fusible Fleece slightly larger than the fabric area being covered because minor shrinkage may occur during pressing.
Place the rough, fusible side of the fleece against the wrong side of the fabric.
Place a pressing cloth over the fleece to protect its fibres.
Set the iron to approximately 300°F, or use the setting appropriate for the project fabric.
Press firmly in sections instead of sliding the iron across the material.
Allow the fused fabric and fleece to cool completely before checking the bond.
Trim the fused piece to its final dimensions after it has cooled.
Repress any areas that have not bonded securely.
To help minimize shrinkage, gently steam the nonfusible side of the fleece using the lowest steam setting before cutting and applying it. Always test the product on a fabric scrap before completing the final project.
Care Instructions:
Once properly fused into the completed project, Fusible Fleece can be:
Machine washed
Tumble dried
Professionally dry-cleaned
Always follow the cleaning and temperature requirements of the most delicate fabric used in the finished project.
